iPad has a kindle app.

There are some books that aren't available on ibooks (I have been told it has to do with publishing rights) but you can download a free kindle app onto your iPad/iPhone & then download any book available on amazon onto your iPad.

Cool beans.

I have a Kindle so no worries there for me. May I ask you a flavor? If you get any cool books, would you object to sharing the kindle file? *grins* I have several SGA books if you want!

When you are inside your amazon account, look for 'manage my kindle' or something like that. You will find a list of your purchases in there. With the list there are options to 'download to transfer via usb'.

The files you download, stick inside a folder and zip it (right click, add to archive) and email :)

My android cell phone has a kindle app that came on it. I didn't even pay to DL that one. It just was there when I bought the phone. I haven't used it yet though.

Now you know. And, as G.I. Joe taught me in the 80s, knowing is half the battle. :P
