Here There Be Dragons

My painful feet literally woke me up this morning. Who ever designed my shoes from last night must have graduated at the top of his or her class on how to make a torture device and disguise it as a pair of hot shoes. Popped a few ibuprofen and will be ready to rock the heeled boots for tonight.

So, since I was up and the rest of the family are still snoozing away, I thought I would check out some of the DW communities. I was disappointed to discover that there is not much going on here in the NCIS fandom. Or, if there is I haven't been able to find it. As I was sulking in my diet coke, I had a thought....

This may actually be a good opportunity for us to start a NCIS fandom here on DW. We have been complaining for ages about all the drama and angst in the fandom, this could be our chance to start a community free from all that.

The comm would be open to all fans - shippers and non-shippers. Shippers of any and all pairings would be welcome. Not welcome would be main character bashing, ship bashing - heck bashing of any sort.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a comm where we could all come together to celebrate our shows (the comm would be for both DC & LA) without fear of drama and angst? A place to ship and let ship? A place where we support each other - not tear each other down? A place where fandom is fun again? 

Well, something to think about while we sit around the fire, roasting chestnuts, gazing at Christmas tree lights and sipping egg nog.
