NCIS AU Episode #200 Life Before His Eyes (deleted T/Z scene)

The lovely Alyss shared these from the actual script. Crossing my fingers that we see this on the Season 9 DVD's deleted scenes section.  

Before the episode aired GG had talked about the fact that even meeting under different circumstances and being at different places in their lives, there was still that certain "zing" - the inevitable chemistry between the characters.  I was really psyched to see the scene and was sorely disappointed that most of it ended up on the cutting room floor due to time constraints.  I know it was an AU episode and it doesn't affect canon one iota, but I would have liked to have seen that little show down between the two. 

I am not going to cut this because it is not spoilery (as it never aired).

Now that's a deleted scene that the plot bunnies and I would love to se.

Wouldn't we all like to have seen that one? Yeah, We'll cross our fingers for it making it onto the discs next month. *goes and confirms pre-order from Amazon still pending* Yup, all set to get'em. :D

I think so. Lent's decided his wife's dead so we don't have that sticky married Tony thing to deal with but no kids like I had in the one story I wrote.

I loathe the 200th episode because it was billed as a big "thank you" to fans and it wasn't. It was GG getting overly involved with the toys at his disposal. It also annoyed me, as a Ziva fan, that Ziva's only apparent purpose is to be a foil for Tony, and even that was mostly cut.

Just a sucky episode.

I totally agree!

I hated it!

If this scene had been shown as it was filmed, it might have been the only redeeming quality about the episode, but as it was cut - the episode is without even one good thing to talk about.

Glad it was AU and has no effect on canon - or I would be a very unhappy fan.
