Day 21

How about that whole Rivkin arc – I can’t even tell you how many hissy fits I threw at the TV during that whole mess and we are still feeling the repercussions years later- I can’t think of another arc that has had such far reaching implications.

 

Let me clarify – I think MW and CdP should get kudos for their exemplary acting – the fact that they made it so believable is what affected me so much – taking nothing away from the actors – it was the character’s actions that had me so riled up.

We certainly are still feeling the repercussions, which is so sad :-(

Wholeheartedly agree. This arc made me dislike Ziva (yeah, I feel bad that the Somalia stuff happened to her, but I maintain she brought at least some of that on herself and she certainly shouldn't have been given a free pass afterward) and effectively killed my OTP (yeah, I get a lot of Tiva fans still think the pairing is possible, but the Rivkin plot killed it for me and they've never recovered ... nor seemed to really want to recover, what with Tony going back to ManWhoreDiNozzo and Ziva settling for CIRay.) And, as nakeisha points out, the repercussions from this mess are still being felt.

So if there's anything in NCIS I'd like to undo its that entire mess.
