A Day of Responsibility - Liz you would be proud of me....

I took today off work - needed a long weekend to recover from the rigors of the real world - NOT!!!!

As a matter of fact, I have been letting my real world responsibilities slide - so I am taking a cue from proseac1  - today is a "grown up" day and I will spend it doing "grown up" things.

When my list is complete (and only then) will I allow myself to play --- like I used to tell my son when he was little - you can't play until your work is done...

Here are my goals for the day:

1. Bank
2. Laundry (all 8 loads - washed, dried, folded and PUT AWAY)
3. Give Copper a bath
4. Straighten the house
5. Go to DMV and pay property tax on our vehicles
6. Post office
7. once the rain stops - pull weeds in my gardens
8. grocery shopping
9. COOKING dinner

alot to do - I know. But I will conscript my son into service - he just doesn't know it yet - because part of being grown up - is the ability to delegate responsiblity.

Already got one of them pissed off because I want him home at 5 instead of 6 hahahaahahahaha *evil laugh*

Sadly, I have no-one to delegate to. Which may be part of my problem? Hmmmm....
