Day 26 - Most shocking/unexpected season finale
I couldn't come up with one right off the top of my head, so I went to NCISwiki and reviewed the notes on all the season finales, and I have to admit - I was still at a loss on which one to pick -

I think I am going to have go with 8.24 Pyramid - no shock value - but I wasn't expecting them to rehash the mole arc: Tony possibly working against a member of the team - definitely asked to keep secrets - keeping Gibbs out of the loop - yeah, we all know how well that worked out for him last time.

Why do TPTB think that they only way Tony can prove himself is by deceit and betrayal?

It was a hard question.

Oh, yes, that was indeed unexpected. You know Season 8 should be known as 'The season of re-hashed plots'.

Plus, Ziva is involved with a guy who obviously has his own secret agenda. Because that worked out so well the first time as well.

I always go to "Twilight" simply because, back then, I wasn't the spoiler whore I am now and was completely unprepared for them to kill off Kate the way they did. I was expecting Gibbs to get get shot and leave it open whether he survived, but Kate taking the round to the head was definitely a shocking end.

Of the rest of the finales, the only one that comes close to unexpected was how the team was split up in "Judgment Day, Part 2" even though I already knew it would be undone by 6x02 (which is was.)

It all feels very worn out and rehashed...the way that killing Franks felt like something they did without even knowing WHY. This show is really starting show some age.
