NCIS Season 9 Spoiler -

According to Gary Glasberg EJ will be coming back for the Season 9 premiere.

Needless to say, I am not happy.

But seeing as it is a done deal - I hope they bring back the EJ from Pyramid, and NOT the EJ from One Last Score, Two  Faced, Dead Reflection or Swan Song.

Trying to find the silver lining in this rain cloud - maybe she will make a brief appearance to wrap up the mole and microchip storyline and then be on her merry way - and we can enjoy a season of team togetherness and cohesiveness.

And while I am throwing out my wish list to TPTB - let's get rid of Ray in the first episode too.

No, wait. This could work. EJ is the mole that Tony has to investigate. Makes sense - after she pulled that thingamajig out of Levin's arm...he's already gone 'off' her, and this could end up pushing Tony and Ziva closer together.

Really disappointing news. I knew it was coming, they left EJ story open so it makes sense she's back, but I'm not happy about it. I really disliked her character, not even Pyramid redeemed her for me. Now I hope they'll wrap up her storyline in the premiere, so we can move on to better things.

Didn't TPTB get the message from the ratings and comments everywhere (not to mention a poll) that EJ is disliked by the majority of people? That she brings nothing to the show, isn't a competent agent and just detracts? Clearly not *sighs*

I just hope the reason for her return is to find out just what she took from Levin's arm and to haul her the coals about it, thus we'll never see her again. Although reading what GG has to say, it doesn't imply that's the case. But then we know what is said so often has little bearing on what actually happens.
