NCIS 9.10 Sins of the Father: Been there - Done that

Just read the press release for NCIS 9.10 Sins of the Father (airing 11/22/11).

I have to say meh! We have been there and done that - several times. 

I know I shouldn't judge before I have seen - but....(meh! again)

I am holding out hope that the plot is at least believeable because right now it is going down as a rehash.

I just read the press release and logged on here to whine about the same thing! I mean, how many times can this guy get into the kind of trouble that crosses NCIS' path??? I felt the exact same way when Tony was put on another mole hunt last season, but it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it might, so I'll wait and reserve judgment for post-viewing, but I have a seriously bad feeling about this.

BAH! I could care less about the plot. It's the episode Rachel Luttrell is in!!! That's all I'm squeeling about here!

The season has been awesome so far ... and I've been super hesitant about a lot going into the season and going into episodes, so I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope the trend continues.

Though, I have to wonder ... what trouble does he get into that ISN'T in NCIS jurisdiction? Because if he gets roped into NCIS cases so much, I have to wonder about the FBI, CIA, and such ... lol.

WTF this is the third time Senior managed to turn up during a murder/NCIS investigation.

They could have included Senior by have him randomly inviting himself to Thanksgiving or whatever as an effort to try for a hallmark family moment which would annoy Tony and then there could be a discussion between T/Z about their fathers.Instead of Senior getting involved in another murder nonsense.

But I will keep an open mind for the episode.

The only thing I can think of that might make it plausible is if someone's trying to get to TONY, and using Senior in order to do it. But I agree, on the surface it sounds pretty lame. I'll reserve judgement though.

So far, Season 9 has been awesome sauce, so here's hoping the trend will continue.

I was honestly kinda hoping that RW's appearance this month would relate to the birthday party that Tony had been forced to plan for him; that would've been far more logical and not beating a dead horse, no?

I read the press release before I got here and my thought was 'been there, done that, got the . . .'

Not again, surely? We did it in the first episode when he appeared, why again?

I did wonder how they'd write Senior in this time and hoped it would be believable and not shoe-horned, it looks like my hopes have been over-turned *sighs*
