Inspired by Tony's bucket list.  This was actually [livejournal.com profile] heartundone 's idea, but as she is pressed for time, I volunteered to start it.

What's on your bucket list?
1. Ride on a train (yes, [livejournal.com profile] zaedah I am looking at you)
2. Visit Australia and New Zealand
3. Write something other than fanfiction
4. Pet a polar bear
5. Learn to play golf
6. Sing a solo
7. Make a GIF
8. Ride a donkey all the way to the bottom of the Grand Canyon
9. Buy a horse
10. Find the diamond ring I lost 10 years ago in my front yard

You've never been on a train? What about a subway on that trip to New York? It counts!

It's not my fault!!!!

Blame the Edgar Allen Poe house for being situated just out of walking distance from the Philly Museum. Which means we had to drive. Sadly we were so tired we forgot all about poor Poe. Again, not my fault!!!

Just means you have to come back up here and we'll take the train anywhere you want to go!

Ahhh, I so sympathize with your ring! I lost my engagement ring sometime this past spring, and I suspect it is gone for good. I have a sneaking suspicion that my son got ahold of it and either flushed it or threw it in the trash! DOH!

I liked no.2 very much. There are lots of wineries near where I live.

For no. 7 http://gifninja.com/

Never been on a train, wow.

I'm so gonna do this meme.

I sure hope that wasn't your engagement ring?

Come on up to Niagara, I'll teach you how to play golf!

Maybe you could rent a metal detector? I imagine it might have got pushed down into the soil by now, but that would most likely detect it.

Very sad - I feel for you.

On my wedding day, I had a sixpence in my shoe, given to me by my mother-in-law (an old English tradition, for good luck, and I'm pretty sure it was the one she'd worn when she got married. THAT marriage was interesting - I'll tell you that story when you tell me yours about the ring!). Anyway, we were at the botanical gardens having photos taken, and while walking through the grounds my heel got stuck in the soil. When I pulled my shoe out, the sixpence went flying, and we never found it.

It was an omen. I think I felt kind of the way you did when you lost your ring. *gulp*

Altogether TOO much fun. Hee! This is wine country too - when you drive through the countryside, it's: golf course...winery...winery...golf course...

You get the picture. So...9 holes at Eagle Valley, then lunch at Terroir La Cachette (at Strewn Winery). Sound good?

LOL There is NO WAY we can hit all the wineries in the vicinity. We'd get alcohol poisoning after about the first 5 stops...:)

This is just for starters:

By all means! You're always welcome - that is, once I'm no longer being held hostage by contractors and I actually get my house back...*grumbles* I would DIE if anyone saw the state of my house right now.

A glass of wine (or two) sounds good right now, actually; might make me forget my troubles...
