12 Days till #NCIS & #NCISLA came back!!!! & 5 More days till we get the new Promos!!!

Five more days until we see the new promos - I am guessing these will be for "Baltimore". 

Wow, Twitter is all aflutter with posts to and from SJM - because she is actually "vaguely" answering questions - nothing that can be considered spoilerish - just production type stuff - but I am impressed she is taking the time and effort to respond to the fans.  I almost feel bad about disliking her character so much, because she seems like a really nice person.  

Warning: If you don't want to read about my twitter induced angst, stop reading now....

I am "seeing" a teeny possibility that she might be back in S9 - nothing specific was said, but she still seems to be holding out hope that is a possibility - or maybe I am just being paranoid because I want so much for EJ to be GONE.

Am I reading too much into this?  Does this sound like an actor who knows her time is up? Like an actor whose character is either dead or shipped back to Rota? To me it sounds like an actor who thinks that TPTB might/could decide to bring her back - not that they definitely are -  I am NOT saying that - don't want to start some unfounded rumor, but possibly could, because it's still a viable option. And I know this is just her "wishing" she could continue on - but why does she think it is still possible?  urgghh... somebody please tell me I am imagining things and have blown a casual remark way out of proportion - I won't be offended, I will love you for it.

Why do I care this much?

I've recently amended my theories based on the stuff that's trickled out - I have been convinced EJ is doomed, but now, I think she is likely to survive. I figure the "shocking" death that will affect Gibbs professionally and personally will be Mike Franks (who has outlived his usefulness.)

As to the whole EJ thing, I still suspect she's going to drop the ball in a big way, like perhaps she's pretty much responsible for Franks' death, likely because she's so eager to prove herself she screws the pooch hard. That way, Gibbs' distrust of her is borne out and his "gut" will be shown to be accurate. I can actually see them having had Tony deliberately chose her side in the Gibbs-EJ pissing contest (because honestly, Tony can't seem to do anything right on the show, not while Gibbs is around), so DiNozzo will go into super guilt trip mode over Franks' death, which leads him (Tony) to walking away from NCIS.

I'm unsure about how CIRay plays into this. As utterly disgusted as I personally have become over the way they write Tony/Ziva, I can truthfully see Ray & Ziva reunite and then leave it open at the end of the season about whether she's going to leave permanently with CIRay or what. Alternately, I can see the guy being whacked just so Ziva has angst for next season as well.

Those are my theories ... although truthfully? I sometimes find myself hoping they'll kill off a major character (Tony or Ziva) so I can just walk away entirely.

And that makes me sad. :(

I had forgotten all about CIRay - wonder when he will be back? EM signed for "multiple" episodes - and there are only 3 left.
I hope he turns out to be a good guy - it would stink if both Tony and Ziva got stuck with duds.

Sweetie - don't fuss about it.

MW said her story will arc out before the finale, and given what we see of her, she will definitely *not* make it into the next season. Her character has been brought in to antagonize and throw up a storm, and so far, she's succeeding pretty well with that.

That said, please always remember that she is a paid actress and that she is bound by severe contracts. If she spills *anything* about the finale, she's not only dead meat for other shows (who will hire her if she spills secrets?) but also liable for a lot of money.

She only leaks what she's been told to leak. And she doesn't sound worried simply bc she's not as invested in her character as we are. It's a job.

I'm sure she's just playing with people. She can't come out and say it's not possible for her to continue as she's dead, so she's playing - just like they all are.

I'm still convinced she's one of the two who will die along with Mike Franks.

thanks for the positive spin - I needed that - I too think Franks is one of the fatalities - I like him - but better him than one of our team and I don't care one iota about EJ or her team - they are cannon fodder as far as I am concerned.

I agree with the other posters - she is playing with us. I never pay any attention to those tweets and other comments, because they're always deliberately designed to lead us to jump to the wrong conclusions anyway.

Besides, whatever they do to EJ on the show, I'm under orders from alidiabin to write a "Death to EJ" fic, and I'm pondering it as I type this. And we all know that fanfic is the real canon, right? *g*

yeap, I am over it now - spoiler overload - don't know why I torture myself - it is counterproductive -

FF is definitely the real canon- on some days it is the only thing keeping my tivalove alive.

Death to EJ fic - please write it! - especailly if we don't get it in canon

I too am not convinced she will be gone as in forever gone. Her tweets about the finale indicate she hangs on till the bitter end. The good news is I really don't think she gets killed which is good for Tony and Tiva. She has created a stir in an 8 year old show so I think they may work her in at least as recurring. I don't think they will use her to replace Ziva but they might lead us in that direction just for spite.
In order not to go totally nuts over a stupid TV show I have to continue to believe that her personality issues with control and aggressiveness will soon wear on Tony and he will dump her as a girlfriend. Honestly if I let myself believe she would still be around as Tony's love interest for the year like Jeanne was I would have to try to find a new show to watch.

I have to agree with you there - I know I couldn't stick around and watch that!
