I like this response a lot. It's simple, to the point and impactful.
I believe in hard work. I believe in being nice to people. Somewhere along the way for me and my success, I fell into a lapse where I'd try to be nice, I'd actually give 200% of myself to be what in my mind was nice to others; but they would end up hurt anyway because they didn't get what exactly they wanted from me. Such is life, the part I'm trying to figure out now for myself I guess.

Date: 2012-01-19 07:18 pm (UTC)It took me YEARS to realize that I will never make every one happy, all I can do it treat them the way I would want them to treat me.
I can't please everyone, but by being respectful to them it allows me to sleep at night and able to look at myself in the mirror.
I guess that's all we can hope for.
