Summary: Tony contemplates surrender
He volunteered to clean up, anything to give himself a minute to regroup from the stress caused by a shared dinner between Team Gibbs and Team Barrett. It was exhausting playing both sides of the fence.
As he was clearing, he found an unopened fortune cookie – he pocketed it and went out to join his team in the bullpen.
Undressing at home he reached into his pocket and found the forgotten fortune cookie, he cracked it open reading the fortune power is in the surrendering.
He contemplated as he showered – power is in the surrendering – he always thought surrendering was a sign of weakness; surrender came only as a last resort and it was never the option of choice.
What would it mean to gain power in surrendering: what would he surrender and to whom would he surrender it to?
