I cheated - I went on Tumblr while at lunch and watched the just released extended promo for next week.

I want to kick myself because not only did I not last a full 24 hours with my no NCIS stuff declaration - but the promo only served to depress and disappoint me,

Meh!

So, it looks as if Tony and Wendy have already hooked up & maybe have been for sometime.  The inconsistencies are really starting to tick me off - he didn't go in and see her at Christmas time and then we get Housekeeping and A Desperate Man - and one episode later (I am not counting the fanfiction AU episode as it wasn't canon) Tony has already hooked up with Wendy.

Seriously?  WTH writers?

I expected him to give a relationship with Wendy another whirl - but honestly thought this episode would be the beginning of the fling - not take up after it already started.

Sure once again, I am speculating on cleverly edited promos - but it's kinda obvious.

It's at times like this - I wish I could quit T/Z - I really do.


 I was already feeling cranky - I might have just moved into ticked off.

Also, promos twist things, and only give hints to make you watch it.

On a side note: if Tony and Wendy get back together, can Damon Werth come back and just walk around shirtless while he woos Ziva.

I expected it - and think it might even be needed to move Tiva along. I had prepared myself for that - but not for the affair to already be started. Gosh, I hope that they don't go that route because it would make Tony a jerk after the last two episodes. How can he talk to and look at Ziva the way he did if he is already with Wendy? I am so hoping that the promo was an intentional mislead - it would so be a step backwards for Tony's character development.

While Tony is sorting out his feelings for Wendy - Ziva needs a little distraction for herself (writers listen up) and she needs a man like this to do it:

Do remember that time is a bit fluid on television - who says this episode really takes place one week after last week's ep? For all we know, the previous two eps actually took place earlier in January, and there could be close to a month of time passed between Life Before His Eyes and the new one.

In other words, don't panic. It will all make sense in the end. I have faith.

I've just watched it (thanks for sharing the link) and my take on it is that they haven't hooked up already.

To me this is just the first meeting after x long and there is still unfinished business between them that leads to the kiss.

Maybe I'm reading it wrongly, but to me this is not 'already hooked up'.
