Before the episode aired GG had talked about the fact that even meeting under different circumstances and being at different places in their lives, there was still that certain "zing" - the inevitable chemistry between the characters. I was really psyched to see the scene and was sorely disappointed that most of it ended up on the cutting room floor due to time constraints. I know it was an AU episode and it doesn't affect canon one iota, but I would have liked to have seen that little
show down between the two.
