Um.... *MB's brain ponders images, compares to years of watching studies on how explosives in cars works, frowns*... Either that was a bigger bomb then we thought or someone screwed up the wreckage!
It just irks when they don't even attempt at realism anymore. I guess we're supposed to believe that one set of burnt out wreckage is the same as another.
I would have been happier if they'd filmed the initial scenes for the premiere right after filming the finale... then they would have had the exact exploded car. Though they likely didn't blow it up and had to try to get it right later.
Well, the bomb DID blow out all the windows in the bullpen, and shook the building to the point that the elevator was disabled, so it couldn't have been a SMALL bomb...not that I know anything about such things :D
Well.... *debates with self* I can mentally justify the damage to the lab as the car was right outside the lab windows. Blast wave would have caused that sort of damage. However, I can't mentally justify the damage to the rest of the building when shown that car. Either I will have to forget everything I ever learned about explosions and implosions or they're going to really have to sell this one well to me.
