Proud to be a one trick pony

A friend just called me a one trick pony because I have only one ship (she has like 8 or something) and one show (which kind of isn't true, because I do watch and enjoy shows other than NCIS - I just don't blog about them much).

I have tried to ship other pairings (and have come really close a few times), but so far... no banana.

Besides, there are only so many hours in the day that I can devote to fandom - so NCIS and Tony/Ziva are where I want to focus my fangirling tendencies.

Maybe one day I will tire of T/Z, maybe one day I will tire of shipping, maybe one day I will find another pairing that grabs ahold of me...

But until then...

Not all of us can multitask... or multiship... so whatever makes you happy works for me. :)

Thanks for the icons too... forgot to mention that in the spectacular crash of my original desktop!

Yups, I did. I'm just waiting until after I build my new desktop to download them. My laptop just ain't up to snuff... not enough ports to access my external storage drives with.

I multi ship because I get/got bored. It took me a while. I started on FFN back in 2007, and I once had lots of time on my hands.

I also think you need to define 'shipping' because I have written something for quite a few pairings (as have you, Malachi/Ziva *cough cough*) but I don't ship/squee over all of them. Often because one half of the ship is dead/recurring character.

But be proud.

I can write multiple pairings - and even write T/Z with others, but I don't fangirl over any pairing except T/Z. I haven't gotten bored yet, but I have been doing this less than two years.

LOL, the only other ship I have time for is Dekker/Daiyu on Samurai Power Rangers. See, now? Doesn't that make you feel better? ;)

Yeah, I've liked other pairings before (and still do), and I've been sort of active in other fandoms before... but none of them have ever gripped me quite as hard as these two. I've never been as overwhelmingly creative before - and I've never even seen such *possibilities* with another pairing, to be honest. Yeah, these two will keep me busy for quite some time. :)
