Problem Solved (I love my husband)

When my husband got home last night from Atlanta, I explained our grill dilemma.  His simple solution?

We will smoke chicken wings and a brisket instead of grilling kabobs - and the sides I have planned? - still work.

And the very best part? - its actually less work and yields more food -

Now why didn't I think of that?  The smoker is sitting right beside the grill.... duh.

note to self - check smoker for bird nests tonight - just to be safe.....
