Hot, Tired and Done......Real Life Stuff

Just spent the last 4 hours pulling weeds, planting flowers and painting an outdoor table.

Normally, I enjoy working outside, but it's 90F with high humidity and even this sun loving girl has had enough.

I am DONE for the day, I already have my jammies on and I am settled in on the couch with a blanket and a good book (Storm of Swords - book 3 of the Song of Ice and Fire series.)

Now, if only I can somehow convince my husband to pick up something for dinner - this would be the perfect way to spend my evening.

P.S. Just heard my husband yelling "NO Copper, NO"

I jumped up to see what the hell hound had gotten into now - she had jumped into the hot tub, found it not to her liking and was frantically clawing the edge of the tub to get out. Glad my son was near by to pull her out, she is a good swimmer, not sure why she panicked. She keeps us on our toes, that's for sure.

I've spent the afternoon watching Army wives in my PJs, good times lol. I'm also enjoying the fact the tomorrow is a bank holiday here in the UK too :)

Glad Copper is already, believe it or not tales like that make me miss my old day.

It was in the 90s here today too ... so hot. It's like wading through humidity. I really think I'm going to get sick Tuesday when I go back to work because I haven't been in air conditioning in 10 days. We have enough trees around our house that we don't need to turn it on.

I'm jealous of all these bank holiday's oh wait I get a four day weekend from Friday.
