Yeah, well the most popular show on TV rarely gets a nod until it's final season airs and it's cancelled. Or so it seems. Plus, the bulk of the full list outside of named categories (like "drama series") is dominated by either cable programming (including the BBC in that field) or reality shows.
If you read the full list, NCIS: LA got a nomination for "Outstanding Stunt Coordination" for the episode "Blye K".
Oh, well... At least I didn't see any "vampire diaries" out there...it could be worse, lol. But I find it strange, though. You guys say NCIS is nº1 drama series, but is it only on CBS or in general? Because the good ratings should justify a little bit of attention from the "jury" of these awards, right? NCIS used to air on an network called AXN, here in Portugal. They have stopped airing it by the end of season 7. I'm afraid the series is not getting the recognition it deserves. I've already wrote some comments on AXN Facebook page calling out their attention, but only a few of us actually follow the series on TV. I've been following it by the Internet. They only aired NCIS:LA on weekends because of Daniela Ruah (since she's half portuguese), and that's it :P
