dragonheart | A Good Scary Movie

There is something about watching a good scary movie that makes me - happy. Now, I know there are differing opinions on what makes a good scary movie. For me, it is NOT blood and guts. I never watch slasher or torture movies, those hit too close to what is happening in the real world. I like my frights to come from the paranormal such as vampires, werewolves, ghosts and the like. And no, I do not like Twilight, those aren't canon vampires or werewolves, (sorry Twihards). I like my monsters to reflect the darker side of life and to scare me.

The other night I watched a good vampire movie called Let Me In. It had a slightly different slant from most vampire stories. Wasn't real scary, but it had a fairly good plot and I absolutely loved the child actors. So if you get the chance, give it a look, I don't think you will be disappointed.
