Day 18: Saddest Moment -

Most recently?  When I thought Ray might be a real contender for Ziva’s affections.  I know he can never fill the Tony sized hole in her heart – but I did have a few heart breaking Tiva moments when I saw this….

From the way you worded that, I take it you no longer see Ray as a contender? Me neither, but with GG you just never know. He tends to drop little hints all over the place and then never do anything with them. So, that empty box may or may not have significance.

That little empty box and the promise that accompanied it "haunted" me for weeks - but I wrote a little ficcy (Promise Realized) and totally got it and Ray out of my system.

I think Ray will still cause a wave or two for my Tiva ship - but he's not in for the long haul - he will be gone baby gone soon enough (or at least that is the delusion I choose to live under right now because like you said GG is unpredictable)

I'm just afraid they're going to do the whole angsty Eli/Ziva crap again and bring in Ray as the "monkey in the middle" and Ziva has to choose between him & Daddy. Excuse me while I toss my cookies...

Day 18: Saddest Moment. Most recently? When I realized I don't like what the characters have evolved into and when I admitted to myself that Ray is probably better for Ziva than Tony the retarded man-boy. It struck me especially hard when I also realized that I personally thought Ray and Ziva had more chemistry together than Tony and Ziva have had for three seasons. Again, just my personal feelings and no doubt heavily biased with disdain toward season 7 and beyond...
