I wanted something poignant here, but honestly - when I thought of NCIS this morning - this is the first scene that popped into my mind - maybe because my next several months of fandom enjoyment hinges on how this plays out - maybe because I am just so darn angry that we are going into S9 with a rehashed plot - maybe because it was the last scene of the season and it is stuck in my mind - *shrugs*
