Ziva loves summer.  She loves the smell of fresh cut grass and the beauty of brightly colored flowers.  She loves dining outside under the stars and sleeping with opened windows.  She loves the casualness of summer, the lightness of summer.

Most of all, she loves the feel of the summer sun upon her skin – how it eases away the aches from long ago broken bones and from current sprains and strains, she loves the way it darkens her skin to honey, making the faint scars that dot her body even fainter.

Ziva loves summer - it makes her feel – normal.
