Summary: Tony covers his bases
Tony wouldn't call himself superstitious, but he would say that he was thorough, and where today was concerned, he wanted to have all his bases covered.
He flashed back to his college basketball days and his good luck rituals of putting his socks on in a certain way, combing his hair in a specific direction and knocking wooden door frames three times as he exited each room on his way out.
Once outside he made sure not to step on a sidewalk crack while rubbing his fingers over the velvet box in his pocket. No, he wasn't taking any chances today.
