Here There Be Dragons

I haven't done so well with bunnies - they are cute and cuddly, but totally unreliable. Maybe it's just my bunnies, but they have a propensity to run off and hide just when I need them the most. I am not abandoning my bunny babies, I am just giving them what they want - a life of leisure. Maybe from time to time they will spark a plot or two, but I am not expecting much from them at this point. They are free to do what bunnies do (they are both female, so no danger of propagation).

I think Linnie and I will get along just fine. I have a thing for dragons and Linnie has a thing for writing. I think we are a perfect match.

My bunny has deserted me. 

She has seriously hopped on down the plot trail without me.  I have the itch to write a story and I have several vague ideas floating around at the edges but nothing seems to want to sit up and act like a full blown story.

I thought if I named my bunny, she might come home, but I can't even come up with anything to name her - nothing seems right, so instead of waiting for her to come back to me, I have decided to replace her.

Yes, you read that right.  My bunny has been fired, and if she does decide to come home - she will have to negoiate a new contract - one with stiff penalities for desertation.  We can discuss a name for her when and if she comes back with her little cotton tail tucked firmly between her legs.

Until then, Bert has been named my honorary plot hippo.  He has been sitting on my desk for the past couple of weeks, so I decided it was high time he earned his keep. I figured he knows the NCIS characters pretty darn good, so surely he can come up with a story idea or two.
