Day 3
Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before. Afterwards, leave a comment in this post with the equivalent of "I did it!"

It doesn't have to be anything complex - it can be feedback for a fanwork or discussing something you might have in common or even simply admiring their icon. The point is to reach out to someone you normally wouldn't and connect with them, even if it's only for the briefest moment.

Day 2

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Drop a link to your post in the comments. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom and maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

1. The Flavor of the Wind by [personal profile] littlesammy . This is my all time favorite T/Z story.  Actually, I will go even further and say it is all my time favorite fanfiction.  This story brought me into the NCIS fandom and cemented me as a bonafide T/Z shipper. TFOTW holds a special place in my heart and will be on every rec list coming from me.

2. Too Late by Rigil_Kent.  I also love Rigil's Transitional States , but this time I am going to recommend his 2009 award winning Too Late.  It is angsty T/Z with a good whollop of Tony whomp.  One of my biggest fandom sorrows is that Rigil gave up on NCIS and no longer writes for it.  The fandom is lesser for it I assure you and I am saddened that some of the newcomers to the fandom have missed out on his fabulous writing.

3. Every City in Between by [personal profile] anr .  I just read this today and fell in love with it.  [personal profile] anr  is one of the best writers out there and she dabbles in alot of different fandoms.  I love her T/Z stories and practically dance with glee everytime she posts one.  This one was written in response to a prompt given by [personal profile] littlesammy .  You know it has to be good when these two get involved.

4. At Terror Street and Agony Way by [personal profile] slybrunette .  Another excellent writer who writes multiple fandoms and dabbles in NCIS occassionally.  She has T/Z down perfectly and I really love this story.  My only complaint?  I want her to write more NCIS!

Day 1

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Drop a link to your post in the comments.

All three of these stories are over on ff.net and are my earliest works.

1. From Russia with Love -  My first cross-over fic (NCIS/Bones) and the second fic that I wrote.  Its almost 20,000 words long and I had  a blast writitng it.  Case fic.

2. A Wink and A Smile - I love this fun little story about a misunderstanding.  The writing is a little green, but it makes me smile when I read it.

3. Boredom and Letter Openers -  Another fun little story about what transpires when we have a bored Tony and Ziva's penchant for office supplies used as weapons - and no - for once Tony isn't on the receiving end of her threats.
