I've created a permanent post at the top of my journal (right under the master fic post) to store my word count updates. It won't show up on your reading page because I used the "date out of order" function to keep it at the top, and apparently that excludes it from being seen by others on their reading page. But it's there for me to be accountable to myself (and anyone else who ventures over onto my journal, naturally).

Actually, I have a feeling that I haven't properly accounted for all my words this month - I'm going to go back over everything tomorrow and double-check the definitions and rules. For example, I didn't count the two "bad fics" I wrote for ncis_verse but they may in fact count.

I also snagged the word count excel spreadsheet that was linked on the site you referenced - I like it better than the one they gave us on GetYourWordsOut. It's cleaner and simpler to use.

Never fear, hon, I will cheer you on. And to kick-start that process...I will mention that Strange Bedfellows is still sitting out there in cyberspace, and I wanna know what Trent Kort's gonna do next, so hop to it, m'lady!!
